What Is Faith Bible Institute?

Faith Bible Institute (FBI) is a through the Bible course for EVERY CHRISTIAN. Students will study chronologically through the entire Bible & systematically through every major doctrine. Yet, basic classes meet only 1 evening each week.

Nearly 20,000 laypersons and pastors have enrolled in FBI's three-year study. FBI combines solid verse by verse Bible teaching with interactive video format utilizing student workbooks, transparencies, charts, maps and visual aids to produce a life changing learning experience. All the newest technology is used to enhance the classes.

The 3-year course is divided into 6 semesters of 17 -19 weeks each (plus optional Electives). Live classes are filmed at FBI's central location (Rowland Road Baptist Church, Monroe LA) and are then viewed by DVD at Satellite Schools throughout the U. S. and internationally.

John Yates (AA, BS, MAR) Instructor:

  • Founder and Instructor of FBI since 1985. Has taught verse by verse through the Bible 8 times.
  • Senior Pastor of Rowland Road Baptist Church, Monroe, La. Served as Associate Pastor Of RRBC 1984 - 2001 leading evangelistic, educational, youth, bus, and children's, college & radio ministries. Began preaching in 1978(age 15).
  • Has been widely used as speaker in churches, camps, revivals, schools, colleges, and conferences through out the United States.
  • Author of Faith Bible Institute's two 7-Volume Commentary Sets on the Old Testament and New Testament, the 4-Volume Set on Theology, and works on Bible Prophecy, Angels, Scientific & Biblical Creationism, Personal Evangelism and Discipleship Evangelism.

We are now taking applications for the Spring 2008 Semester.

We want you to have a better understanding of God's Word through the Faith Bible Institute. This program is a 3-year College Level Program, which has been offered through Temple Baptist Church since 2002.

Do you have to be a member of Temple Baptist Church to attend? NO

When does the class meet? Thursdays, Jan. 24, 2008 - May 22, 2008 6:30-9:15pm.

What is the cost? $115.00 for new students, $165.00 for couples. Then $75.00 for all other semesters ($115.00 for couples) ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED IN THE TUITION! The only additional items you need not covered by the tuition are a KJV Bible and a pencil. You can't ask for a better offer than this! Tuition installments are available. (DISCOUNTS GIVEN FOR EARLY REGISTRATION, SEE BROCHURE)

How to register? Simple, read the entire brochure and complete the application. Put the application with a non-refundable application fee of $15.00($25.00 for couples) in the envelope included with the brochure (make checks payable to Temple Baptist). Give the envelope to Janice Kay or place in the church office box located in the church foyer next to the tract rack.

Are there any other options? Yes. We will offer a class in Scientific & Biblical Creationism. You do not need to be registered in the 3-year program to take this course. The application form is separate from the 3-year program. This class will meet Feb 28, 2008 - March 27, 2008 on Thursdays, 6:30pm -9:30pm. The non-refundable application fee (DUE JANUARY 20, 2008) is $15.00($25.00 for couples). The $25.00 tuition is due the first night of classes ($40.00 for couples). Total cost for the class is $40.00 ($65.00 for couples) All materials included.
