Why Turbo Town?

    Does your child think of church, the Bible, and preaching as boring and not relative to their life? God’s Word is far from boring and we want your child to experience the wonderful message of the Gospel in a creative and applicable fashion at Turbo Town. Most people are saved between the ages of 6 and 12.  Therefore, it is important that we not push them into a room with cookies and a little story about the Bible. We at Temple Baptist Church recognize the importance of reaching children during these ages and we have built a state of the art facility to grab your children’s attention and not let it go until they have heard a clear message from God’s Word.

What is Turbo Town?

    Turbo Town is a Children’s Worship Center geared to teach your child the entire Word of God on a level that they can comprehend using skits, puppetry, and messages from God’s Word that will come alive to your child. Turbo Town was constructed with the imagination of a child in mind. This facility includes a 3 story town filled with live characters, as well as puppets that will teach your child the Truth of God.

A message from our children’s Pastor:

    We are living in a child driven society. As a children’s pastor, I know that the influence of a child in the home can be negative, but it can also be very positive. My desire is to reach children with the truth before they are conformed to the ways of the World and Satan. In a world that is trying to teach our children that sin is no longer sin and to live their lives in any way that will make them happy, we must be proactive and not reactive. At Temple Baptist Church, we have purposed to make children’s ministry a priority instead of a problem. We must stand before the Lord with an effort worthy of the cause in reaching children.
