VisionCasters is an outdoors based ministry. It actually started in the spring of 2006 by way of a benefit bass tournament to help pay the expenses for the youth of Temple Baptist Church to assist them in attending a summer youth conference.
In the spring of 2007, the second teen benefit tournament was held. This is when we felt the burden and desire to take our love of the outdoors and develop it into a ministry. This led to the formation of a new ministry at Temple Baptist Church called VisionCasters, “Reaching out to bring them in”
The anglers who enter our bass tournaments fund the ministry. The tournaments are held on Lake Hartwell, and Lake Keowee.
The VisionCasters Ministry Team is fully accountable to God, Pastor Larry Pearson, and the staff of Temple Baptist Church, Anderson, SC. The church financial secretary manages the VisionCasters account.
VisionCasters has assisted with benevolence needs locally, youth missions in the states, assisted missionaries as far away as Africa, China , France, Honduras, angel tree kids, families in need, Kids for Christ Ministry of TBC. These are just a few of the ways VisionCasters has been able to reach out to others.
Your participation either in the form of sponsorship or participation in any of the VisionCaster tournaments helps the lives of those in need not only locally but also worldwide.
